Now then Ricky Lad, it has been a little while since i last popped in for a chat, i still miss those smiling chubby chops of yours so much and i am still waiting for You and Di to drive around to my house to get the old car repaired.
Well Mate only the Good Lord above knows how much you are Loved and Missed around these parts, it feel like we have all lost a Brother which i guess is so very true as You were just like a Brother to all of us who had the great privilege of knowing You.
Well Ricky the Scouse are having a pretty decent season ('BOO-BOO!!') but not as decent as the Manchester Blues ('YAY-YAY!!') and it seemed so strange that just a few days ago Someone asked me to copy them a CD of Gerry and the Pacemakers Greatest Hits for which as much as i tried not to listen to the damn thing, i could not resist the temptation of blasting out 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and my immediate thoughts turned straight to you as it brought back so many wonderful memories of our Scouse-Manc Footy debates, but then the thought of me listening to the Scouse national Anthem prompted me to put on some proper decent music Oasis 'Wonderwall' and guess what Mate.....it too brought back so many wonderful memories of our Scouse-Manc Footy debates.
